"I’ve gone through account verification on other..."
I’ve gone through account verification on other platforms before, and this one felt a lot more annoying than it needed to be. The compliance process took way too long, and I was left waiting without much clarity on what was happening.
"Didn't feel safe keeping my domain there"
I didn’t feel like my domain was really protected with them. The settings and security options were a bit confusing, and when I reached out to support, it didn’t really give me a peace of mind. After a while, I just got too worried about it and decided to move my domain somewhere else

"Payment process was frustrating"
I tried to pay with my card, and it just kept failing for no clear reason. I mean, you’d expect a basic card payment to work without turning into a whole thing, but it was frustrating
"Account pages are confusing"
I tried getting around the account settings and got confused. The pages don’t feel very clear, and the site just isn’t easy to use. I kept clicking around trying to find simple stuff and then just stopped.

"Renewal prices just didn’t feels worth it"
At first, the prices on gname.com look okay, so I was thinking I’d maybe save some money by moving a couple of my domains there.
But then renewal time came around, and the cost just feels way too high for what I was getting. I used other registrars before, and the value didn’t really compare for me.
Maybe it works fine for other people, but I don’t like getting surprised by basic domain costs. I’ll be moving my domains out when I can.

"I reached out to support expecting at..."
I reached out to support expecting at least a quick update or some reassurance, but it took way too long to hear back. By the time they replied, nothing had actually been fixed, and I was still left wondering what was happening. I really just needed someone to let me know they were looking into it.

"Helped me turn my DNS mess into an honest draft"
I was dealing with a DNS issue i blame myself for not explaining it clearly from the start. Once I actually shared what was happening, it helped me put together a much more honest and useful draft. It wasn’t fancy, but it got the point across and made the problem easier to understand.

"Ended Up Feeling Like I Was Just Losing Money"
I tried using Gname for a backorder and then got pulled into an auction afterward. the whole thing felt confusing from start to finish. The price started climbing really quickly, and I wasn’t fully clear on what fees were being added or what I was actually committing to. I kept worrying I’d end up paying more than the domain was even worth, so it felt like a bad risk the whole time. Support also took a while to respond, which didn’t help. Maybe it works better for other people, but for me it felt like a waste of time and something I’d rather avoid than risk losing more money on

"Heads up: my domain transfer was a mess"
I tried signing up with gname.com and transferring a domain over, it turned into way more hassle than I expected. The status kept changing without much explanation, support took a while to reply, and I never really felt like I knew what was going on.
The whole transfer dragged on much longer than it should have, and I had to keep following up just to get any updates. Maybe some people have a smoother experience, but based on mine, I’d be careful before using them for anything time-sensitive. I definitely won’t be using them again.

"Is Gname legit"
My friend mistakenly took task scams and her funds got frozen in an account. As it was a scam, she couldn't contact the administrator. So she mailed gname as they are the registrar.
1. At first, she mailed her details to gname, for what gname responded to report in abuse, but the link was not working.
2. The scammers site has redirect service with gname, so she mailed again to contact the web admin with all the details she had.
What she had in return?
Her internal link alone blocked with all the frozen assets. But the same scam group still conduct task scam with scammers and ignorant people.
Why established domain registrars support scammers like this? It's disgusting to see the responses.
